So – What is laser tag?

Laser tag is a team or individual sport or recreational activity where players attempt to score points by tagging targets, typically with a hand-held infrared-emitting targeting device. Infrared-sensitive targets are commonly worn by each player and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played. Since its birth in 1984, laser tag has evolved into both indoor and outdoor styles of play, and may include simulations of combat, role play-style games, or competitive sporting events including tactical configurations and precise game goals.

Laser tag is popular with a wide range of ages. When compared to paintball, laser tag is painless because it uses no physical projectiles, and indoor versions may be considered less physically demanding because most indoor venues prohibit running or rough housing.

Where can I play Laser Tag Outside?

When you book laser tag with Marksman Leisure allow you to play laser tag in large wooded area where children and adults alike can run, hide and shoot each other to their hearts content, and all in perfect safety. The video above shows the attendees at a birthday party having great fun.

What is the aim of Tag Laser

The aim of tag laser, laser tag or laser tagging is to aim an electronic signal or lasers at a receiver worn by your opposition. Every hit is registered and scores are kept.

Laser Tag can be played as individuals or in teams, this is great fun when the adults get involved as they are usually targeted by the children, mercilessly!

Does Laser Tag hurt?

No Laser tag is completely harmless unlike paint ball( paintball) where a physical object is shot at your opponents and can often result in painful bruising. In fact the army uses laser tag guns instead of the real thing when they are training.

The other major benefit of Laser Tag over paint balling is that paint ball ammo runs out and extra is usually charged for whereas the laser guns might run out of charge but cost nothing to recharge and this process is very quick.

Is Laser Tag good fun?

Yes absolutely, especially when it is played out of doors but don’t take our word for it, here is some of the feedback that we have received from our happy customers:

20 Silent Nights! 5 out of 5 – by Jo C. on Jun 12, 2013 Thank you again for a fabulous event on Sunday, all the boys enjoyed it immensely & your control of the large group, with ages from 10 – 14 was a masterclass in getting & keeping their attention. Both Mark & Tina are worth their weight in gold! Finally, we have subsequently heard from grateful parents that all 20 slept VERY well that night – what more could we ask?!?
