S4F was truly ahead of the game when it launched outdoor laser tag at its woodland setting in

Hanbury, over 20 years’ ago!

Back in 2003, S4F owner Mark Treverton was one of the first people in the UK to offer outdoor

laser tag and it has become one of the most popular activities he offers at the Oaklands

Outdoor Pursuits Centre.

The strategic combat game appeals to people of all ages - the perfect activity for a wide variety

of celebrations.

Whilst children’s parties keep Mark busy most weekends, laser tag is also popular as a group

activity for adult milestone birthdays, stag or hen parties, wedding entertainment or corporate

teambuilding days.

Outdoor laser tag is a thrilling and engaging activity, combining the excitement of traditional

laser tag with the enjoyment of being in a rural setting. Advanced laser taggers include sensors,

infrared technology, and scoring systems, adding a futuristic and high-tech element to the

Watch out for ‘limited edition’ one off laser tag events at S4F in 2024 – kicking off with a World

Book Day experience for children in March. This literary adventure will take kids through a ‘Once

Upon A Time’ entrance to the Storybook Forest, where the world of books will merge with the

magical thrill of laser tag combat. Will the magic words from their favourite books shield them

from being tagged?
